Silence: YouTube does not remove gaps of silence. You can trim manually in YouTube Studio after upload, or use a tool like Recut before uploading. We could add server-side silence removal in a future update.
Background blur: Done here in the browser (see checkbox above). YouTube does not offer background blur in post-processing.
